Should We Pause Giant AI Experiments?

Generative Artificial Inelligence Systens such as chatGPT and GPT-4 continue to evolve rapidly. A recent Open Letter signed by oer 1000 people has called for a pause of at least 6 months for the training of AI systems more powerful than GPT-4. The Colloquium will briefly review the current AI status, explore the impact of AI, and consider whether or not the call for a pause is conceived. Everyone is invited to participate in this open form Zoom gathering.
